Learn to Detail Co was created by Trai Vowles, the owner and director of Scratch Away Detailing PTY LTD.

Trai had been detailing for several years even before starting his own business in 2020. After starting mobile mainly offering paint correction services the business quickly grew and moved into a shop based location. As a business we specialized in paint correction and ceramic coating and later delved into the world of wet sanding. This was partly in due to Trai's twin brother Jye, the Owner of Scratch Away Paint Shop - A paint shop specializing in full resprays and restoration projects - with wet sanding being an integral part of a flawless paint job.

Fast forward to 2024 and Trai is helping with wet sanding of resprays and restorations out of Scratch Away Paint Shop in Burleigh on the Gold Coast. This is the line of work he is most interested in and where his passion lies. With that said he still has a huge passion for detailing, still offering his services out his home studio. This passion also spills over to education, and helping others learn the more technical aspects of detailing, such as, paint correction, wet sanding and ceramic coating. The skills that have allowed him to work on many classics, show cars and high end vehicles. 

This is where the idea of Learn To Detail stemmed from and here we are today. With the first course launched in February 2024 - With many more in the pipeline.
